A fascinating collaboration between Hadley’s Orient Hotel and the artist members of Designedmadeinc inc. This exhibition promises to be a sensory feast, celebrating the stories, characters, history, craftsmanship, and culinary delights of Hadley’s Orient Hotel.

Historic table settings have been reimagined with Tasmanian materials and motifs featuring, glass, ceramics, linen, silk, silver, gold, and Tasmanian timbers. It is sure to be a feast for the eyes.  

To celebrate the history of Hadley’s, the artist reimagined Hadley’s history;

*Sugar-sculpture table displays rendered into glass,

*Elegant timber tea caddies made to match former guests’,

*Hand-printed napkins display historic motifs,

*Botanical cocktail picks adorn martini glasses,

* Jewels inspired by historic silver service,

* Delve into the culinary history of Hadley’s with a display of ornate ceramic ice cream bowls, cake stand and plates.

*Rich tapestry with historic motifs and Tasmania flora adorn the walls and tables,

*Explore dining attire with hand-died silk bowties, and fabulous hand-made shoes.

*Experience the magic of dining under electric lights for the first time with a display of modernist light fixtures illuminating grains of Tasmanian timbers. Like layers of a decadent cake, these lights cast a warm glow, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the timeless ambiance of Hadley’s Orient Hotel

This exhibition is sure to offer visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the ambiance of Hadley’s Orient Hotel while also appreciating the diverse interpretations and expressions of the artists involved.

Campo de Flori will be back at Salamanca Saturday market in the Seedlab Stall.
