Lisa keeps several beehives on the Campo de Flori farm that forage on the lavender, olives and wildflowers. The European Honeybees were added to the farm in 2019 and are now thriving. The hives are producing honey that is only for sale through Campo de Flori at local markets and our online shop.
Lisa also makes beautiful products from the bounty of the bees, including beeswax candles and beeswax wraps.
Lisa obtained a certificate in bee keeping from the Tasmanian Tafe and she was also part of the bee educational program for women called Sister Hives. For continuing education Lisa maintains membership in the Southern Tasmanian Beekeepers Assocation.
As part of this program Lisa participated in TWO World Records for Women in Bee Keeping. The world records were produced and recorded by Extreme Excellence World Records & Media
